"Buster" Johnson is a charter member of the Hamilton Horseshoe
Club. Beginning the organization with a handful of fellow camping
friends, he was instrumental in building a twelve-court facility in his
hometown of Hamilton, Massachusetts.
He was elected Club Secretary/Treasurer when the club started in 1970 and is currently holding that office. Along with maintaining Club records, he also became Tournament Director, responsible for holding the Mass. State and Mass. Open for a number of years.
In conjunction with a Club Committee, he is coordinating the winter NHPA sanctioned league program, consisting of three leagues.
"Buster" is a good sportsman who enjoys the friendship of all it's members, any many other Clubs throughout New England.
Untiring effort by him has helped increase Club membership to where it now stands. His pitching percentage of 25% shows us that enjoying our sport requires involvement and friendship.
