Richardson started pitching in tournaments in 1958. Since that time he
has played in 6 or more every year. In the middle 60's era he was one of
the top players in New England.
For a few years he dropped back into "B" class, only to begin a comeback. In 1967 he finished third in the Keene Open, and the Vermont Open, and fourth in the State Tournament averaging that season about 66%. Charlie finished third in the New England Championship twice. He has averaged over 60% in 30 tournaments.
In 1979 he won the State Championship. In 1979 and 1980 most of his tournaments were 65% and over.
He is a mild mannered player and well liked by his fellow players.
