Jim Tyrie

James Tyrie was a contributing force in this game of horseshoes He was a member of the Massachusetts NHPA for 28 years.

He was one of the leaders at the St. Moritz club in Quincy Ma. He truly helped to keep this club together as an organizer. He ran many of their club tournaments, at the same time he was Ma State Treasurer for over 8 years, He was Barbara Hanson's right arm. You could always count on Jim, he didn't understand the word no.

He was President of St Moritz for about ten years. Jim when not being an organizer, he was helping in all other areas as in scoring At many of the other tournaments, helping out with the raffles especially at the New England Tournaments up in Keene New Hampshire.

Jim Also received the Don Harrison Award for his sportsmanship, and His unselfish contributions as organizer, player and a gentleman to this game of horseshoes
