Nomination to the Massachusetts State Horseshoe Pitchers Association hall of Fame the name of Mary Ryan

Since 1982, Mary has taken place in the State Class "A" Championships every year taking First Place twice, Second Place twice and Third Place four times.

Wining the Ladies State Championship twice in 1984 and 1985.

She also, with her husband (Frank Ryan) won the "State Doubles Championship" in 1984, 1985 and again in 1989.

Mary was also the NHPA Digest Story in the December 1982 issue of the last "Tournament of Champions" held in Sutton at the Heritage Recreation center as Runner up to the late Fran Norman. (Page 20 through 23). She also, with Frank was the cover Story on the March 1883 edition.
