Al Boudreau has been a moving force in the sport of horseshoes, active on all levels: National, Regional, State and Local.

He is honored here for his organizing accomplishments.

Active in the sport for over 25 years, Al has been a member of the Keene Horseshoe Club since 1963. He has been in charge of membership three times: Vice President in charge of courts once. Tournament Director (or assistant) four years. Al has been Director of the New Hampshire Senior Olympics for three years. New Hampshire Legion Doubles one year, and is currently New Hampshire State Vice President. He has been New England Tourney Director twice and State Director twice.

He has developed a new style score sheets, stat cards, and a composite average chart keeping a running average of all New England competitors.

There are many evidences of his work about the Keene Horseshoe Club Courts, the plaques, past State Champions list, bulletin boards, scoring devices, etc.

Al has designed and markets his own shoes nationwide.
