Joined
the Horseshoe club in 1969 and played in the Keene Warm-up, averaging
30%. After the first two years, played in Class A. State Tournament finishers: 1972 - 2nd, 1974 - 2nd (lost in playoff), 1976, 77, 78, and 79 New Hampshire State Champion. Set state record for percentage in winning 1977 championship with a 73.5% ringer average. In 1979 set a state record for single game averaging 93.2% pitching 30 out of 32 ringers. Placed 6th in the New England's in 1977, averaging 70%. Won the Vermont Open in 1977 averaging 70.2%. In 1975 missed qualifying for Class A World by 3 ringers. Played in five World Tournaments. Because of problems with his leg, Bob did not do well in the 1980's. However, since the beginning of 1983, Bob has learned to re-pitch and placed 5th in the State. KHC-President 2 times, Secretary - 8 times and Vice President - 2 times. |
