Since 1992 he has pitched in 105 sanctioned tournaments and has won his
class 15 times. His lowest overall average was 43.08 in 1997 and his
highest was 60.8 in 2002.
This person has competed in class B in 3 Eastern National Tournaments. His best year was in 2006 when he came in 2nd averaging 58 percent. He has competed in every New England Tournament since he started pitching. In 1992 he averaged 45.8 percent in Class BB and coming in 8th place. He then gradually raised his average to 60.14 in 2000. He made class A for the first time in 2002 averaging 60.5 percent and coming in 7th.
He competed in 7 World Tournaments. He placed 3rd in Class B in 2002 with a 60 percent average and pitched in Class A1 in 2003 coming in 7th with an average of 59.5 percent. His favorite tournament was the New Hampshire State in which he pitched in 14 out of the last 15 years. Twelve of those years he played in Class A. Between 1992 and 1999 he averaged around 47 percent. Then he began to break out of the pact and in the next 8 years raised his average to 57 percent.
2001 was a great year for this person because he had reached the pinnacle of his sport by winning the New Hampshire State Championship with an average of 54.66 percent
He came back to win it again in 2002 with an average of 67.4 percent. He then had his finest tournament in 2003 by again winning the championship with his highest average of 73.64 percent.
And in 2006 he won his 4th championship averaging 55.06 percent. This person is truly a great champion and it's my pleasure on behalf of the New Hampshire Horseshoe Pitchers association to induct DAVID WILSON into the New Hampshire Horseshoe Pitchers Hall of Fame as a player.
