2009
Steve has been a member of the Horseshoe Pitchers Association for over fifteen years and has won a number of tournaments throughout New England. His most notable achievement was winning the State's class "A" Championship title three times.

In 1985, he captured his first State title, averaging 59.5 percent. Then in 1996, he went on to win a second championship, pitching an unbelieveable 67.57 percent for the tournament. Then again in 2000, Steve took his third championship title with an outstanding average of 65.65 percent.

Coming from a family of horseshoe players, and having a father who's won a number of tournaments over the years, he was certainly a big influence in Steve's horseshoe pitching career.

Steve's unique style of pitching has earned him the respect and admiration from a wide field of turn-style players. Some of these players have said; "He is the best flip-style pitcher they've ever seen".

Whether on or off the courts, Steve is always a gentleman and a good sportsman.
